Camex Adds Doosan Robotics to Its Cobot Lineup — More Options for Canadian Manufacturers

Camex Robotics is proud to announce the addition of Doosan Robotics to its official cobot partner lineup. Doosan's H-SERIES and M-SERIES collaborative robots bring best-in-class payload-to-weight ratios, built-in torque sensing on all six joints, and an intuitive teach interface that requires no prior robotics experience. For Canadian manufacturers looking for a powerful, safe, and flexible cobot platform — especially for heavier assembly, machine tending, and material handling tasks — Doosan opens an exciting new tier of capability. Camex is now offering free application assessments and live demonstrations for Doosan systems at both our Laval and Mississauga facilities.

Introducing the Welding Cobot Track System — Cover More Ground, Weld More Parts

Camex Robotics is launching its Welding Cobot Track System — a 7th-axis linear rail solution that extends the working envelope of any Universal Robots cobot to cover large weldments, long seams, and multi-station welding cells. Instead of being fixed to a single base position, the cobot travels along a precision ground linear track, allowing a single robot to service work that would otherwise require multiple robots or manual repositioning. The system is fully integrated with the UR safety controller, requires no additional safety guarding in collaborative mode, and is engineered to bolt onto most existing welding tables and positioner setups. This is a major capability upgrade for structural fabricators, trailer manufacturers, and heavy equipment shops.

Camex Officially Launches the Roll 'N' Tend — The Portable CNC Machine Tending Cobot

Camex Robotics is proud to officially launch the Roll 'N' Tend — our signature CNC machine tending system built around zero-point precision docking and a fully mobile cobot base. Unlike traditional machine tending robots that are bolted to a single CNC machine, the Roll 'N' Tend docks precisely at any machine in your cell using a kinematic coupling system, allowing one cobot to tend multiple machines throughout the shift. No reprogramming between moves. No re-teaching. Just dock, confirm, and run. The system is compatible with all major CNC brands including Mazak, Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, and DMG Mori, and is available for both outright purchase and our Rent-N-Weld rental program.
